"The breakout of the coronavirus pandemic created chaos across the nation and soon lockdown was imposed. After the commencement of lockdown we as students were quite unsure about what to expect as digital learning on the go or from distance calls for tech-led holistic solutions and blended learning was the way to go. Our CSE department faculty members and our mentors would have also grappled with new ways of managing this sudden transition to online education but in no time they started teaching online through various platforms like Zoom and Microsoft teams. The faculty members were always available online during interactive sessions for students to clear their doubts. As a matter of fact professors allocated dedicated time slots for particular number of people for online discussions to answer any question or to work with a student.Depending on the nature of the course and students’ internet access, teachers or professors supplemented Moodle (an open-source learning-management system) with assorted social media and online platforms. These were utilised for course materials and running of online modules. Other online platforms like National Project on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) aimed to increase connectivity with institutions, and accessibility to similar course content.. Now it is said "Good and bad education will not be decided by marks and numbers of degree certificates handed, it will be decided by the level of academic and related online and social media engagement of the learners, the quality of content shared by mentors''. We are very grateful that content uploaded in the form of pdfs, ppts, URLs, YouTube links, etc have always been beneficial for us.There were continuous theoretical and lab assessment in the form of quizzes and lab assignments to analyse students learning and where improvement in that learning is needed.. Therefore I can proudly say that now teachers and professors have become our mentors as they are always there to motivate and help us out whether it's related to academics or personal. during this pandemic."
