"Hello everyone, I am Debanjali Jyoti Chattopadhyay, a 3rd year student, persuing my b tech. degree from Techno International New Town in computer science and engineering. As we all know that everything has been jeopardized due to the spread of Covid-19, Everyone is facing hardships in some way or the other. The students too are also facing a lot of problems regarding their academics. I and my fellow friends are fortunate enough that our college is helping us in every possible way. Due to the lockdown, all of our classroom activities have gone online.There are numerous whatsapp groups where the subject teachers share notes, links, videos regarding their respective subjects. There are various clubs like literature club, music club, coding club, photography club,etc.which helps us be involved in extracurriculars besides classroom studies. Our college has an e-learning platform, called “Moodle”. Our lecture materials are also been posted in moodle on regular basis. We submit our assignments and attempt quizzes on Moodle. There is also a discussion forum. All sort of problems that we have regarding the lecture materials are being solved through “MS Teams” where our teachers take online classes .. The faculty members are so co-ordinating that they even repeat topics on our request. They are always available to help us with our studies. We are really thankful to them. Lastly, I request everyone out there to follow the instructions given by the government. Stay home, stay safe, and maintain social distance."
