"The Covid-19 pandemic had brought everything to come to a halt and but technology has come to our rescue. During lockdown we were away from our colleges but we did not miss out on our quest to acquire knowledge. Online classes were provided on various platforms like zoom, goggle meet and MS team which was similar to the classroom teaching. Assignments, study materials and quizzes were uploaded on the college moodle website , this resolved the problem of many students who did not have access to books. We were given access to various online courses like Coursera , Nptel and Moocs which was of great help. There were lot of webinars conducted on various topics such as Bitcoins, Stack development,Web development and many more which helped us to gather lot of information about the industry and these interesting fields of study . Book reading sessions were also provided which was a wonderful experience.I am 3rd year student, currently pursuing my B Tech. degree from Techno International New Town in Computer Science and Engineering.This lockdown in our Country is proving to be a very trying time for all the students academically and mentally. Everyone is facing hardships in some way or the other.But I along with my friends are very lucky to be in a college that is helping us in every possible way they can .Our department has provided us with a Microsoft Teams account, where they take our classes Section-wise group-wise. Thereby providing individual attention to every student. Our professors keep uploading the lecture notes in our very own platform “CSE Moodle”.Regular assignments and quizzes on the Moodle helps the students be active with their course curriculum. By Having Regular doubt clearing sessions in the forum of our Moodle, along with creating numerous WhatsApp groups including the subject teacher. Our teachers are always there to solve our queries whether it be regarding academics or extra-curricular.By motivating us to participate in the activities organised by our various clubs like art club, photography club, coding club. They always try to keep our morale high. I’d like to thank our faculty for providing this very interactive and engaging way of learning.We are fortunate to have a faculty that never fails to be a mentor for us.We are really thankful to them."
