The programme opens with a motivationg speech by Dr. Summauli Pyne ,Head ,International Relations,TIG on position of women in current society and self-employment opportunities for home makers.30 local female homemakers from underprivileged class participated in the awareness programme.They were benefited to know the new avenues for self-help.Prof Poulami Basu Mallick and Prof Anwesha Dutta Ain held an interesting interactive session with them on their problems& solutions  of daily life. At the end of the programme they were given gift hampers and complimentary lunch.
