A cornerstone of the library infrastructure is its robust digital ecosystem, providing uninterrupted access to a diverse array of online resources. The digital library section features 10 computer terminals equipped with high-speed internet connectivity at 1GBPS. These terminals facilitate seamless access to a wide range of subscribed electronic resources, which includes.

National Digital Library of India (NDL) – The library is a member of National Digital Library of India (NDLI), an initiative sponsored by Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Govt. of India and coordinated by Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. It comprises high quality educational materials ranging from primary to post graduate levels. It has various and diverse subject domains from science and technology to social science and humanities. Video lectures of NPTEL (National Program on Technology Enhanced Learning) have also been made available in NDLI.

The list of subscribed eJournals and eBooks are available on demand.

Remote Access software: The library provides the facility of accessing its eResources beyond traditional library hours. For this purpose, we have subscribed to Knimbus mLibrary Standard which not only helps in remote access but also keeps track of usage of resources on a daily basis. It also contains a huge number of open access journal articles and ebooks.

 

Library Hours

The library remains operational on all weekdays and remains closed on Sundays and other Institute Holidays.

Monday to Friday: 09:30 am – 06:30 pm

Saturday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Circulation Hours: 10:00 am – 05:00 pm
